As a result, I stopped at Sir, You Are Being Hunted, a game in the Stealth & Survival genre, with a procedurally generated world, from the young and of course, the Big Robot independent studio, which are simply made by games and also obviously love robots, and it is not surprising that even in their new projectThe Signal from Tolva (first -person shooter, in the open world) was also not without them.
I myself have never been a fan of this genre, but the opportunity to play the fog of Albion in the rural wilderness, running and hiding in the bushes and ravines from not the most noble robots of the aristocrats, bribed me and I already gain and launch Sir, you are being hunted
And today, after passing a single campaign, I decided to express my opinion and emotions about “sir, you are being hunted”, or at least try to do it.
Having started a new game, we are offered a choice of one of the seven characters, the only difference between them is the starting set of inventory, this essentially does not affect the complexity of the game, although another is kindly indicated in brackets.
Choosing an aristocrat, since it was obviously assumed that we will play for him, we continue to create the future place of action. Next, we have the opportunity to choose the landscape of the five islands on which the whole game will be held. We have five islands and five types of landscapes to choose from, but still better than nothing, as a result, each island got its own landscape, although it is worth mentioning that the countryside is by default, rural areas.

A little about the plot

And the plot in the game is extremely simple, our hero fell on a mysterious archipelago in a different dimension and in order to get out of it you need to collect seventeen artifacts scattered throughout the archipelago, that’s the whole plot. True, at the beginning of my escape, finding a note and a book in one of the houses I thought differently, apparently through them the plot will be presented, and we can also find out more about the history of this world, I decided.
The action in “sir, hunting has been declared” in which by the way you can also play for Madame (the floor in the game can be changed at any time, why!?), occurs in a parallel world. Everything looked extremely promising, and the game promised excellent emotions and sensations, it is … The first half an hour or an hour in the game is the best, until you find an ax or any other weapon, then you suddenly remember that you are a person and this is your trick and exterminate whole types. But when you do not have weapons and you have to hide in thickets or in the forest more often, as if a fox to which dogs were lowered (and they are here), the game manifests itself in all its glory, tickles the nerves, makes you feel helpless and be patient in search of another artifact or mechanism, who is more convenient for whom it is more convenient. But as it has already been written earlier, there is a weapon in the game and it does not break, does not wear out. It completely kills the entire atmosphere in the game and okay the ax would break, and it would be problematic to find the cartridges, so no … That house has a couple of robots, go kill and get a cartridge for a double -barrel from their bodies. And as a result, as a stall in my opinion, the game failed, sometimes I have to be neat and look around, but in my case I extremely successfully found three artifacts at once and did not eat the desire to die and start all over the beginning, because only the boats and still at Stoneenge on the central island, I did not find such buildings (also the game automatically retains progress when you travel when you travel when you travel when you are travelingbetween the islands).

Well, what about the Survival component? Unfortunately, as a survival simulator, this is a brother of a twin stealth, in this game. Throughout the game, we must monitor our vital energy, do not forget to eat and sometimes indulge ourselves with good alcohol, by the end of the game my character has probably become an alcoholic, but this is not all, if you wish, you can also treat yourself with hallucinogenic mushrooms, I am not an expert in this matter, but it seems just food poisoning. All inventory is divided into four categories: used, edible, dubious and trash. The first means weapons, traps and objects to distract attention. Under the edible, it is present, and under the doubtful, which is unknown to add survivability or take it away, but its diversity is so little your culinary experiments will quickly end. And the trash is the trash, why I don’t know it, you don’t use it in any way, it just has it. There is no question of any survival, on the contrary, successful and prosperous life.
A little about graphics, game world and optimization
I have never been demanding on graphics, a good plot and gameplay are able to draw a lot on yourself, the graphics for me that does not determine the factor when buying a particular game. But reading news and messages to the game, many have noted a stylish graphics. Stylish, cartoon graphics excellent tool, thanks to which the game released ten years ago looks fresh.
